It has been three months since my daughter Krishnapriya's scoliosis surgery. We found out she had scoliosis when she was 12 years old. When we heard that she needed surgery, we were completely worried. When we heard that it was a major spine surgery, we were afraid that something would happen to our daughter. Many people asked us if we should do this spine surgery. It was a situation where we didn't know what to do. I searched the net about scoliosis. That's when I saw videos of many children after this surgery. That's how I came to know about Dr. Ranjith Unnikrishnan. We came to see the doctor the very next day. The doctor talked to us in detail about scoliosis. It was only after talking to the doctor that we understood the importance of doing this surgery. Our daughter relaxed as soon as the doctor finished talking. He told us many details about the operation that the doctor performed. He gave us the numbers of the children who had undergone the surgery and we talked to them. We went to see the doctor in February. We scheduled the surgery on April 7th. Our daughter had two curves in her spine... When we saw the doctor, we decided that the doctor should do the surgery. But we were tense until the surgery was over. With the help of God and the doctor, the surgery was completed without any complications. Two months later, she started going to school... ചെറിയ കാൽ വേദനയിൽ തുടങ്ങി 5 minute ൽ കൂടുതൽ നിൽക്കാനും നടക്കാനും പറ്റാത്ത അവസ്ഥയിൽ ആയപ്പോഴാണ് husband ഒരു doctore കണ്ടത്.. Spine disc bulging ആണെന്നും surgery വേണമെന്നും doctor നിർദേശിച്ചു.spine surgery അപകടമാണെന്നും, paralysis വരെ സംഭവിക്കാമെന്നും, പകരം ആയുർവ്വേദം നോക്കൂ,. ശരിയാകും എന്നൊക്കെയായിരുന്നു കൂട്ടുകാരുടെ അഭിപ്രായം. ഒരു second opinion എടുക്കാൻ വേണ്ടിയാണ് Dr രഞ്ജിത്ത് ഉണ്ണികൃഷ്ണൻ sir നെ കാണാൻ ഞങ്ങൾ വരുന്നത്.Sir നെ consult ചെയ്തിറങ്ങിയപ്പോൾ husband ചോദിച്ചു.. എന്ത് പറയുന്നു surgery വേണമോ? Surgery ചെയ്യണം. അതായിരുന്നു എന്റെ മറുപടി. കാരണം ഇപ്പൊ അദ്ദേഹത്തെ അലട്ടുന്ന ഈ കഠിനമായ വേദനയുടെ കാരണവും.. അത് എത്രത്തോളം നീണ്ടുനിൽക്കുമെന്നും അടുത്ത stage എന്താകും എന്നൊക്കെ കൃത്യമായ ധാരണ എനിക്ക് ഡോക്ടർ പറഞ്ഞു തന്നിരുന്നു. വേദനയ്ക്ക് പരിഹാരം surgery തന്നെ ആണ്.ഒരാഴ്ചയ്ക്ക് ശേഷം അതായത് 2025 june 5നു surgery fix ചെയ്താണ് ഞങ്ങൾ വീട്ടിലേക്കു തിരിച്ചത്.. Surgery ക്ക് തൊട്ട് മുൻപ് husband എന്നോട് ചോദിച്ചു. നിനക്ക് പേടിയില്ലേ.. ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞു..ഇല്ല.കാരണം ഞാൻ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നത് ആ മനുഷ്യനിൽ ആണ്. അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ അറിവിൽ, experience ൽ. അത് വെറുതെ കിട്ടുന്നതല്ല അദ്ദേഹം നേടിയെടുത്തതാണ്. അതിൽ വിജയിക്കുകയും ചെയ്ത ആളാണ്.. Surgery കഴിഞ്ഞു ICU ൽ കാണാൻ ചെന്നപ്പോൾ എന്റെ മുന്നിൽ surgery കഴിഞ്ഞു ഏകദേശം ഒരു മണിക്കൂർ മാത്രം ആയിട്ടുള്ള husband നടക്കുന്നത് കണ്ടപ്പോൾ എനിക്ക് ഉറപ്പായി.. എന്റെ വിശ്വാസം ശരി തന്നെയാണ്.. ഇന്ന് surgery കഴിഞ്ഞു first review ആയിരുന്നു. കൃത്യമായി പറഞ്ഞാൽ 12ആം ദിവസം. ഇന്ന് doctore കാണാൻ drive ചെയ്തു പോകുന്ന husband നെ കണ്ടപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ ഓർത്തത്‌ ഡോക്ടറെ ആദ്യം കണ്ടപ്പോൾ അദ്ദേഹം നിഷ്കളങ്കമായി ചോദിച്ച ഒരു ചോദ്യം ആണ്.
