My dad has had difficulty walking for the past 6 months and has been suffering from a lot of pain in both legs. After examining the scans and performing a thorough physical examination, he suggested a Keyhole Spine Fusion Surgery (MIS-TLIF), which was the only option. At first, we were sceptical about going through with it as it’s a “Spine Surgery,” which sounded a bit scary and too much. I even asked the doctor what if we don’t do the surgery now; how will it affect my dad in the future? He replied, saying he might not be able to walk at all and could be paralysed. So we thought about this for a few days and decided to go ahead with it. Dr. Ranjith was very efficient in explaining the procedure to us and making sure there were no concerns at all. My dad was admitted on 16th September, 2026, and had the routine tests done for medical fitness before the surgery. The nursing team and all the staff were very kind and helpful. The very next day, surgery went smoothly, and the doctor made sure that my dad walked for a few hours right after the surgery. He was shifted back to the room the same night. Dr. Ranjith and his whole team were very thorough and helpful throughout our stay in the hospital. My dad got discharged the very next day, and we came back home extremely satisfied. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Dr. Ranjith and his whole team for their efforts and support. I still remember when I asked my dad how he felt after the surgery. Do you feel any difference? He replied, “I never thought I could get rid of this pain ever again in my life.” He is extremely happy with the results. He is undergoing physiotherapy at home every day but now can walk properly and do his day-to-day activities without any issues. I would recommend Dr. Ranjith as he is an excellent Orthosurgeon and his expertise in this is truly commendable. Many people have a fear when they hear the words “spine surgery,” but I must say this: with modern techniques and doctors like Dr. Ranjith, anything is possible. God works his miracles through such great doctors; you just need to have a little bit of faith and courage!
